Black belt under Professor Pedro Sauer, Mike Johnson has been training in the art of Jiu-Jitsu for over 17 years. He is the lead instructor at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Maryland’s Columbia location.

A life-long martial artist and 20-year police veteran, Mike holds numerous defensive tactics instructor certifications, including Certified Police Defensive Tactics, Police Use of Force, MPCTC Enhanced, MPCTC Firearms, ASP Baton. He brings real world experience and 15 years of teaching experience to our school.
